Challenge:

I was hired for the Global Communications Department of my former job, with the clear challenge of updating and transforming the department from the inside to become an internal communications and media powerhouse.

Approach:

Soon after my hire, a full rebrand of the company was put in place and we decided that one of the key projects to implement the new brand, build trust within the different stakeholders and gain the reputation we were aiming for, was to migrate a previously magazine-style Annual Review to a fully digital, online one.

It was a great challenge because we needed to convince the senior leaders within the company that this was the right way to go.

My Input:

I had several tasks in this project, first, we had to define the main purpose of this Digital Annual Review, identify our main target audience and the secondary audiences as well.
Gather all the references, style and define what type of media content we needed to fulfill our main purpose.

I had the task of getting in touch and decide with which vendors we wanted to build this project with, as the Creative Lead of this project I worked alongside the writers, but mostly I was in charge of lead, overlook and approve the work of photographers, web designers and developers, 3D artists, production and post-production agencies to come up with an engaging, interactive product that was able to fulfill the main purpose we as a team, and as a company had defined: to use the Digital Annual Review as a tool to let people within the company, as well as investors and talent have a better understanding of what the company was all about, it's history, values, business lines and products.

I was in charge of the roll-out campaign of the Annual Review as well, for this, we created an email to all employees, a news post in the intranet, videos for internal TV screens, as well as the social media posts.

I also worked as the Creative Director of the videos created for the 2022 edition of the review.

Outcome:

This was the first digital annual review, due to it's success, from then on the company decided to continue with this approach for the years to come. I actively participated as a Creative and Art Director for the following 3 years.
