Challenge:

In my former job, we got a request from the Global HR Department, due to a very important change that was implemented throughout the company, to be more specific, the renaming of all companies owned by the company to one name: Werfen, and thus these companies becoming several business lines of the same company. Of course, some people where reluctant to this change.



Approach:

We needed a strategy to convince everyone that this was the right way to move forward, in the department we decided that a great way to make people feel proud to be part of and work for this company, for every employee to understand what where the main drivers that guided us. One of the main strategies to achieve this purpose was to push forward the Values Campaign.

My Input:

Working alongside the writers, a set of 9 core values that defined the company, where put together.
This company is made out of a lot of different types of workers (Production site workers, R&D, office workers, etc.) and we needed to reach as much of them as we could, some of these workers don't even have access to internet or screens within the facilities.

We decided that a great way to implement this campaign was with the use of a set of specifically created icons that define as clear as possible, the concepts of each value within a wheel that united them all, so that it would be obvious that they're at the core of everything that is done in the company.

As well, we decided that a set of posters that could be placed at every location, anywhere in the world, translated to all the seven main languages used in the company. I was in charge of creating and putting together all these assets to create a series of posters, as well as to implement the roll-out of this campaign via the company's intranet, emailing and brochures.



Outcome:

After the final announcement of the renaming and integration of the different companies, the Values campaign was implemented on all sites around the world. The campaign was a great success, people starting feeling really proud of being part of a company with such great guiding principles and values and the trust on the main company and brand, was reinforced.
