Challenge:
Following the great internal success of the "Sustainability Seeds", as well as other initiatives that our department started to provide, an important stakeholder for the Autoimmunity Business Line reached out to me with an idea of creating an animated video, initially intended for internal communications, that could help people understand the importance of autoimmune diseases and make that business line's efforts stand out.
Approach:
We needed a clear and short communication piece to fulfill the stakeholder's need. So, after reviewing a couple of references we decided that a great way to communicate the message was by using the company's illustration styled characters to tell this story.

My Input:
I wanted to use this project for two main purposes: to build a story around numbers and technical data and to set a starting point on how our illustrated characters will live on screen. I worked hand in hand with the business lines partners and worked on the scripting process, I was completely in charge of storyboarding, style boards, music selection, character rigging and animation.
Outcome:
The stakeholder was impressed with the final result and decided that it would be great to use this communication piece for our external communication as well, it was used as an example during the General Managers Meeting of the company and it was decided to translate this video for several of the company's markets around the world.
